LMU will host Valparaiso in its BracketBuster game, ESPN announced today. The game will take place Friday, Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. and be broadcast live on ESPNU. Only 26 of the 71 games earned a TV spot. Valparaiso is 15-8 on the season and 8-3 in conference play. As part of the contract, LMU will visit Valparaiso on a future, mutually-agreeable date.
The 10th annual Sears BracketBusters is a three-day men’s college basketball event pitting potential NCAA Championship hopefuls against each other, and will be held Feb. 17-19.
The Lions traveled to Portland State a season ago to take place in BracketBusters, losing 84-75.
