Lions on losing end of tough battle

Not much to say about last night's game. It was a hard-fought battle by both teams, and the Lions, in the end, just couldn't pull it out. Everyone seemed to put in their all, and of all the losses this entire season this is the one in which the Lions probably played the best. An off-shooting night from Drew Viney (2-10 from the field) didn't help matters, but if anything this game showed that the Lions can grind it out with the best of the conference.

LMU is now 3-2 in conference play, and will travel to BYU Thursday. It won't be an easy game to win, as BYU is an extremely strong team at home.
